Horse Lorry Conversion

We converted a Leyland DAF horse lorry into a camper truck.

 

This was initially for our own use but we then sold it for a family to live in. Complete with double bed over the cab, bunks at the rear, bathroom with compost loo, kitchen and of course a woodburner.

 

We had a change of style for this project and used plywood that was painted and ‘Birch’ ply that was oiled.

 

This was intended to have an off grid solar set up which the current owner installed as they needed to live in it having sold their house the project wasn’t completely finished before handover, but the result was still a nice space to live in.
